Sunny Patch Sand Toys Review and Giveaway

I've always said that you can't be too rich, nor too thin, and that you can't have too many sand box toys.  Especially when the sand toys are as adorable as the new Sunny Patch line from Melissa and Doug.  If that name sounds familiar to you, it's because it's a series of children's books by David Kirk, adapted to a Nick Jr children's television show called Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends .

I was very impressed by the sturdy construction of these sand toys, they should stand up very well to the rough and rugged play of TOF and TC.  The boys had a great time 'cooking' sand treats and 'baking' sand cupcakes.  

The 7 piece baking set has a whisk, spoon and nesting measuring cups that store neatly in the pot and the lid is sifter.  The 12 piece cupcake set comes with 4 cupcake molds and 4 cupcake toppers in a tray, an icing tool, and a cupcake molder.  The entire set stores neatly in the included mesh bag.  The 5 piece sand-molding set includes a brightly colored turtle, goldfish, crab, starfish and seahorse that nest for easy storage.  The pail and shovel are equally lovable with their animated faces.

The three of us gave these toys 6 thumbs up!
