What to My Wondering Eyes Should Appear

but this very festive Santa box. I pried off the lid to discover....

These beautifully wrapped presents.
I'm so envious of people who can wrap gifts,
mine always look like TOF helped,
so that's my excuse, yeah TOF wrapped my stuff.
I admired the bows and paper and each individual tag.

There was yet another handmade card.
So sweet, however, she didn't reveal herself to me.

The large one....for your love of pink.
PINK, she knows I love pink. Ohhhh I love pink!
Thank you for knowing I love pink!
Look at the tube shaped one,
looks like a firecracker, tied with yarn....
for your love of a chocolate scent! Mmmmm chocolate
I do love chocolate!

What's this? One more, a square shaped present....
for your love of the Lord, two presents in one.

I carefully pried off the tissue to find...

another present inside this lovely little box.

Oh I can hardly wait to see what's under all that paper. Ready? RIP!

But wait, what's this? Oh no, what are you doing dear Canon Powershot SD900? No, stop that! Wait, I have pictures to take, readers are hanging on my every word! How will I explain to them that you need a charge? Just a few hours? You'll feel better this afternoon? Promise? Ok, you go rest in the charger and I'll be come back to get you this afternoon to finish taking pictures.

Okie dokie, I'm back for the reveal. Under all that beautiful paper and ribbon was this....

A beautiful pink plaid shawl, which is so cozy for snuggling up with while I sit here in my cold corner and blog. A yummy bottle of CHOCOLATE hand lotion, for my Midwestern wintry chapped hands. There's a warning on the bottle that it's not edible, but boy it smells heavenly! There was also a little embroidered trinket box that will be perfect for holding my jewelry overnight. Inside that box was an inspirational plaque that reads, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." I really do need to be reminded of that.

Here's a close up pic of the trinket box, it's so detailed. I love it, I love all of my gifts. Thank you so much SSS, whoever you are. I had so much fun with this exchange, both giving and receiving. Thank you Georgie! For the idea and for the opportunity to "meet" so many wonderful bloggers.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good bloggy post!

Late breaking discovery!

The shawl, has a tag, I know where the tag is from! I know it well! SSS do you really live near there? Whynot and I are in the area at least every 1st weekend of May, I know it's a long time off but would love to meet up!!!

And here I was, waiting outside for the postman......"slow down dear man....where's MY package?" But I'm getting more joy seeing you open yours than I'm getting waiting for mine to appear!

I wanna see the little box that is holding the little wrapped present inside.

I'm going to drag out the photos of my gift (if I ever get it) forever due to the ideas you're giving me.

It takes forever to get that old film developed. heee heee

I was especially admiring the beautiful trinket box. Is it handmade from India, by any chance? Lovely!

It's so weird! I have the same pink shawl from MY casino. But I wear it as a scarf so my neck doesn't get cold in this wintry air. If you're suggesting that scarf came from a casino, I live within 8 minutes of CEASARS that recently became HORSESHOE and we go there every thursday. Wish you were coming here for the Derby on the first part of May. We'd love to meet you at the casino and show you the machine that feeds us enough money to buy the buffet with.
