Fifty five degrees in J-town and the fog is as thick as pea soup.
***updated at 9:15 am Saturday
The fog is beginning to lift, I can see across the street now, to where my neighbor's car slid into the street during the night. We've gone from skating rink to swimming pool in less than 9 hours.

59 here in Columbus right now. Nuts, I tell ya.
Just like Chicago— If you don't like the weather… wait a minute it will change.
I have been hearing all about your weather on the news. I hope it gets better soon. Be safe.
I know, weird, huh? All of the snow is melting, I'm not sure whether to be happy or sad...
wow! craziness!
Are you sure we aren't neighbors? That is exactly what it looks like here too! Stay safe...inside!
Yikes!! It was beautiful today...who da thunk it could be 67 in Ohio in December? => Be safe MRM!
Yikes! Just stay home and blog today!
How weird. We had very heavy fog today too!
I'm a fog fan. Yes, I realize that sounds weird, but it's true!
We had a foggy day all day yesterday... it left so much dampness everywhere... I hated it!!
Wow. That is pretty thick!
Wow, that's zero visibility! Take care...
That's just crazy. You're inside where you ought to be.
Stopped in from blogstalkers!
Where is J-town exactly? Read through your sidebar and just wondering if it is in the Chicago area too. I have never seen so much fog before. Really quite amazing.
Good thing that you decided to stay indoors and blog. The world is a much, much safer place that way! :)
Be warm and enjoy the new year!
