So My Doorbell Just Rang

and you'll never believe who it was!

Steve, yes the Mailman's name is Steve, left a letter......We just got a letter! We just got a letter!

The Traveling Plate has arrived safely in J-Town! Georgie sent it to me, she got it from Cheryl, and I too will have to part with the beautiful plate, when I am damn good and ready soon.

Welcome little red plate, I'm going to do everything I can to make your visit a pleasant one. You've missed lunch, but TOF will be up soon and it will be snack time. I must have known you would arrive today, because I actually remembered to thaw something for dinner. Do you like chicken? I know, I know, you're a breakfast plate, but you can watch us eat. Then in the morning I'll whip up something fabulous!

So here's what's going to happen:

Leave a comment if you want to get in on the plate passing.

I will then take the names of the bloggers who comment on this post and mix them up in an old winter hat...then I'll pick one name. ( I guess Platey doesn't like Random Integer Generator, that should be some story, I'll ask)

The chosen one will get the plate.

When you get the plate, put your breakfast on it (please, nothing healthy) and post it to your blog. Make sure to give Cheryl, Georgie and me a mention.

You know the drill...mix up those names of people who comment in a hat and let it go...

Sound like fun? Wanna play? Join Us...

P.S. There was also a Christmas card from Georgie included with the plate, my very 1st this season. Thank you! And another little something, but you'll have to check back to read about that tomorrow. (hehe a good way to suck you back in) (besides you have to come back to see pictures of the breakfast) (and to see if YOU'RE the next lucky contestant on The Traveling Plate)

How I wish I were that plate, traveling the country visiting so many nice people, having all that delectible food dumped on me. I can't seem to find my way out of Wildes Corner!

I can just feel your excitement!! I'd love to have that plate next. But, would it be right for it to travel BACK to Oklahoma again so soon?!? LOL!

I can't wait to see what you put on it in the morning! :)

Oooo man I'm hoping you make brownies for breakfast. They would look so good on that plate. And on my ass and hips.

I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really want the plate to come to me in SC next. Really, really.
Thank you and Amen.

To the great decider (is that a word?) of whom shall get the plate:

I want it. I want it now. I promise to take it to the most awesome off the wall places, all the while treating it with exquisite care.

I promise it will be adored by everyone in this family who happens to be in town at the time.

And by Zack the Wonder Dog and Zanna the Wonder Pup.

It will get to ride in LaToya the Sequoia, the Jeep, and the Powerstroke. And if ThatManILove makes it home, it can ride in his truck, too. Lots better than a postal truck!

And it can go to the mall, to the movies, out to eat, to the gym...oh, wait. I don't go to the gym. I'll start, though, if I need to...

Oh, hell.

Put my name in the hat, please ma'am.

What is this plate thing? It sounds like fun. I want in. Send it on over to Idaho and I'll put some sort of potato concoction on it, I promise.
