OMG! Twilight has been in theaters for 46 hours and I haven't seen it yet. And guess what? I'm still alive to tell about it LOL.
Sorry, I couldn't help myself, don't hate me.
I haven't read the book yet either, so I really have no clue what all the hype is about. And Edward, he looks to be about as old as my son, to me that's just icky! I cannot fathom fantasizing about someone that close in age to someone I gave birth to. It just doesn't work for me.
Give me the James Bond type, although not sure if I like this new one, Daniel Craig. I love Sean Connery, and Pierce Brosnan too. But Robert Pattinson, holy cow, I just checked, the boy is more than a year younger than my son! That's robbing the cradle IMO and he's gonna be quick on the draw. Plus he needs a haircut.
Sighhhhhh, I guess I'll just stick with Whynot, he doesn't bite.

Yeah I was only vaguely aware of this in the last couple days (yawn) -- you say there's a book too? I'm clearly out of the vampire loop I guess lol
(Don't tell Deb but I'm kinda with you on this. That is like lusting after one of my son's friends, and that is just wrong)
I am not as obsessed as some of the others but I am excited to see the movie because the books were really good. But I was never in love with Edward, just more interested in the interpersonal relationships in the books - the auther did a really good job with character development!
:) Hmmmm....can't do it. I love me some Edward. :)
Ok, you got me. I am not a DIE HARD fan, but I am a fan. And I LOVED the books. And think Edward is totally HOT, but then again, I am only 24, so he's a bit closer to my age.... I read all the books in one week. Four good sized books, I was impressed. lol. But I have to agree there are some other HOT actors out there, I saw a preview with Will Smith, and he only gets HOTTER with age, something I NEVER thoguht I would say! lol.
I haven't read the book yet either.
I'll probaby see the movie though.
On DVD;)
Hi, thanks for your comments and for including me in "people who make you smile" :) you made me smile too!!! I don't know about this new movie, but I saw the last one from James Bond... it was good, as usual.....
Take care!!!
Julie must think I can't read.
He is 1 year younger than my oldest boy too, but you know what. I'd do him.
If he liked fat, old women I'd be heading up that line. But alas, all I can do is dream. And dream I shall. Creepy you say? I'm ok with that.
This post was like spitting in my face. Wha???? LOL
I love Robert and I'm only 5 years older than him so I don't think I'm THAT creepy. Deb....yea, but me...NO WAY! LOL
Robert Pattinson is SO NOT who I invision when reading the books. I'm not the least bit turned on by such a young guy.
I loved the books. I loved the movie for that matter. I just prefer to still see them as I invisioned them!
The books really are worth the time to read.
The 13 y/o girl child--actually a princess in training--tried bribing me to take her and her friend to see it yesterday. There was not enough she could promise me to get me out of the warm house on a 21 degree cold Saturday. I had a warm blankie calling me.
I'm really confused on all the hype too? Im not really into vampires. I bet that Edward dude brainwashed all our blog friends!!
I love me some Edward. Hot vampire love...
Hahah so funny! Yeah, I feel a bit wrong in thinking he's a cutie. LOL. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
okay, now step back. Sean is MINE. You can have Pierce, but that bastard Sean is mine. we're cool, right?
I'm halfway through reading the book...and I just opened it yesterday! It is a good read. As for the movie...I'm a NetFlix girl!
~AirmanMom returning to her blog...
LOL I'm in the middle of the 3rd book, but only because my neighbor thrust the books into my hands and said, "YOU MUST READ THESE BOOKS ASAP!" And since I didn't have to spend money on them, or make any effort to get to the library or anything, I complied. Except she only loaned me the first two books, and someone else has the last two books, and I wasn't about to wait to see what happened next, so told Dan to buy me the 3rd book at Costco. He came home with the whole boxed set. sigh... So now I even OWN them. (they're not that bad, though truly not my favorite books ever...LOL)
