Desperately Wanted

Some of the side effects of Hypothyroidism are:

Severe fatigue, loss of energy, persistent sleepiness Check
Weight gain, difficulty losing weight Check
Depressed mood Check
Joint and muscle pain Check
Dry skin, brittle nails and hair, thinning hair Check
Irregular periods nnn not so much
Fuzzy thinking or difficulty concentrating, loss of libido, and puffiness in the face or extremities. Is that a nice way of saying getting FAT (ter)?

Other symptoms include intolerance to cold, Check and mate!

I'm not ready for it to be cold out yet - nor will I ever be ready for it - so I'm throwing this out there hoping someone has a bit of summer left, hiding in their closet or under their bed, maybe way in the back of the basement behind the Christmas stuff. Please share.

Go do something nice for someone to warm up their insides, because we all need some more of that summer heat.

If this post, made you smile and warmed up your insides on this chilly morning, then I did my job.

Again, if you have any summer left, please let me know, I can pick up ASAP, or you can send it COD.

Thanks.

Dear God, someone either shoot me and put me out of my misery or tell me what I am doing that keeps moving my sidebar to the bottom of the page. I can't read HTML, I can barely read English HELP ME!!!!!!!!

Hi MR mom, I have had 1/2 of my thyroid taken out and I have to take meds for it...it is a bit confusing isn't it?

You did make me smile this morning so in turn you should get a little extra sun today:)

I wish I could help with the blog problems...I am not so good with blog troubles.

Ugh, I'm not ready either. The older I get, the colder I get. It sucks. For the first time in my life I'm considering an electric blanket, which should fight nicely with my menopausal hot flashes.

When I was a kid my grandfather used to have a can of California Sunshine. It was bright yellow with a photo of the sun and a beautiful summer beach day on the front. It was like a soup can, where you would need a can opener if you wanted to open it.

As kids we thought it really did contain sun and that opening the can would transform my grandparents house into that beautiful sunny beach displayed on the front. And so every winter, we would beg him to open it - but he insisted he was saving it for something special.

He has since passed away and I often wonder what happened to that can of sunshine. I never did see it again.

Pouring a cold rain here...so wish I could help...with the warmth or the blog.

I'll keep some happy, sunny thoughts going your way, will that help?

I regularly ask for my thyroid to be checked, I have all those symptoms too, and if only a thyroid pill could FIX everything, wouldn't that be swell!? nope, it's always within normal limits---sigh

Oh the cold is so hard on the arthritis too! Sometimes I even wear gloves in the house!

I was excited to see your question regarding the sidebar issue, as I have the same problem. Is there NO ONE out there that can cure these problems for us?? ;o)

It's Fall, what? ; )

Yeah, it's been pretty warm here in TX but now they're saying lows in the '30's over the weekend. So, I'll send you some of yesterday's weather. Sound good?
