The True Story of Puss 'N Boots

Now on DVD from Phase 4 Films, The True Story of Puss 'N Boots.  Starring Emmy and Golden Globe winner William Shatner as the voice of Puss, this animated movie is based on the famous Puss ‘N Boots character by Charles Perrault.

This version of the movie is a family film about a strange talking cat with magic boots, who uses his tricks to gain wealth and power.  It begins with the youngest son of a miller receiving his inheritance, Puss, the talking cat.  After Puss overhears his new master expressing his disappointment, the cat sets off determined to make his master a fortune.  After months of tricks and foolery, the cat charms a King into giving the miller's son his princess daughter in marriage.

Phase 4 films released the DVD on October 4, 2011.  Running time of this G rated film is 79 minutes and includes audio in French as well as English, and an exclusive interview with William Shatner.  Learn more about the movie at
