Working at Warp Speed Now

Moving right along here!

I got all this done during nap time this afternoon. Six rows are now strips, three rows need to be sewn into strips, then nine strips need to be sewn together. The final step will be clipping the seams 1/4 inch apart. Oh and then washing a few times for the ragging effect. The first time he spits up on this quilt I'm gonna cry.

Back to the sewing machine for a bit, then a nice glass of wine and bed.

Jeem Jeems everyone, see you in the am.

Sweet dreams, MRM. You're gonna pass out from all that work. And not even from the wine.

now that's adorable!! I love sunshine and shadow quilts!! (aka trip round the world)

but don't cry....just keep telling yourself...like I have through every baby quilt. "This quilt is not made to last...it's made to be literally loved to pieces...it will be puked, peed and pooped on and that's perfect!!"

it's a mantra...just keep repeating it.

"puke, pee, poop is perfect...puke, pee, poop is perfect"

you'll get it! ;-)

thanks for stopping by my place.
come on back now.

Oh, pretty! I sure wish I was talented (or dedicated) enough to create something like that!)

I wish I could do something like that. I have issues with measurements. To me, 5 1/2 is close enough to 6 so I make the cut. And I'm sure you can figure out how that all turns out!
Your blanket is so pretty!

You go girl! Look at you kicking butt on that quilt. I have one I started for my own little one 4 years ago, it's still sitting in pieces. I really need to get back to work on that.
