Navy Pier Welcomes Sixth Annual Green Festival, the Largest, Longest-Running Green Consumer Event, May 5-6
Green Festival, the nation’s largest and most trusted environmental consumer event returns to Chicago May 5-6, 2012. Featured at the weekend-long show at Navy Pier will be leaders in the social justice and environmental community, including speakers, entrepreneurs and activists; an organic beer, mead and wine pavilion as well as a dedicated kids’ area for learning about easy and fun ways to incorporate green at a young age.
In the center of it all is a unique marketplace of more than 350 eco-friendly businesses, featuring the latest and greatest in sustainable products and services. Green Festival is the only national sustainability event that screens exhibitors for their commitment to social justice, sustainability and ecological balance using co-producer, Green America’s green business standards.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.greenfestivals.org for $15 or at the show for 25 when purchased at the event door, discounts given when purchased in advance, reduced admission for seniors. Free admission for those who ride a bike to the event and park with the bike valet, as well as youth under eighteen and union members with valid identification, Green America and Global Exchange members, Sierra Club members with membership card and volunteers.
