Crafting With TOF

Ok, so I am a horrible slacker. I know it, Santa knows it and I'm probably gettin nuttin fer Christmas. Winter brings out the worst in me, I have no motivation! None, nada, zip, zilch. It's cold! Like really cold! Not your 'oh I live in Florida and it's 40 degrees today' cold. Real. Cold. Trust me.

Today is what? Like December 10th? My confession is, the tree is not up yet. Told you, I'm a horrible slacker. I fake it well don't I? You all thought 'wow that Megryansmom, she really has it all together.' In truth, I don't, because today is the 11th. I don't even know the date! I do know it's Friday, which is an improvement, because on Wednesday I thought it was Thursday and I was all excited about Friday, which was really Thursday and then I was like, aw man that sucks. And I know none of this has anything to do with Crafting With TOF, but I think on top of being a slacker I have a little ADD going on. Look something shiny!

Now onto the crafting. With TOF gone for preschool Monday through Friday from 8ish to 11:30ish, (and did I mention he rides a bus!) we don't have as much time as we used to have for crafting. Yesterday we managed to squeeze in a quick and cute project.

Presenting....

Some construction paper, a little glue

More construction paper

Let's see what you made TOF!

That's better, silly boy.

Sunday when Mommy and Daddy are at the Christmas Party we're going to make some special Teacher gifts. Be sure to come back and check it out.

To all my Jewish friends.....Happy Hanukkah

Don't feel lonely. I don't have a tree up either. I probably won't put one up because I am way too lazy for all that.

The closest I have come to doing anything for Christmas was to make my grandson his first stocking.

I haven't even bought one single present yet.

How cute the craft is! I may steal that idea and do that with Baby Boo this weekend.

You're not the only one lagging behind. Just relax and enjoy the moments without all the pressure flying at you. So, what happens if your tree isn't up now??? You can get it put up when you have the time so relax.

Very cute craft project! My grandkids are a little too young for it, but next year I think it'll be perfect.

Read about your Secret Santa gifts, too....chocolate oranges are a tradition with us; I love them AND Lindor truffles. So I'd agree you got a great SS!

We have no tree. We have no time to get a tree. We MUST get one before Christmas, but that's about as good as it gets right now... sad, isn't it? :)

I love the Christmas tree. What a great craft! And the bus? Isn't the bus for preschool grand? I love our early learning center!
