Named one of the 10 most anticipated theatrical events of the season by the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Children's Theatre presents The Houdini Box. Based on the children’s book “The Invention of Hugo Cabret,” by Brian Selznick this brand-new musical tells the story of a boy who receives a mysterious box that may unlock the secrets of Harry Houdini. Another not terrible nor horrible production at Emerald City Theatre Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day will explore how families can practice fairness, particularly when unfair things sometimes happen.
