Jump!Zone Bolingbrook Review and Giveaway

We've probably driven past Jump!Zone Bolingbrook on I-55 a hundred times or so.  I don't think TOF knew what is was and every time I said to Augie Dawgs we should take the boys there.  One recent afternoon we did just that.

About Jump!Zone:

Jump!Zone 490 W. North Frontage Road, Bolingbrook, IL  is a place where children and their parents can enjoy active, free play on massive inflatable play structures such as obstacle courses, slides and bounce houses. Jump!Zone provides children and indoor playground where they can climb, slide, jump, race, and play with their friends and parents uninhibitedly.

Parents love the opportunity to play with their children in a comfortable, climate controlled, safe environment and love the physical activity from which they and their children are benefiting.

The concept is simple and effective. Jump!Zone offers parties by reservation and Open!Play sessions. Uniquely, once admission is paid to get into Jump!Zone, all activities are free including the Inflatables, sports games, toddler play areas, redemption arcade games, etc.

Parents appreciate that their kids are not asking them for quarters and the kids appreciate the variety of entertainment choices and unlimited use for the time they are there.

What we thought:

I admit, I was leery.  All that noise, the horrible smell, it wasn't appealing to me.  Boy was I wrong about this place!  It was super clean!  Even the bathrooms.  It didn't smell like a dirty gym locker.  The temperature was perfect, not too hot for running around, not to cold to sit and chill for a bit.  We went on a weekday afternoon and there was no maddening crowd, but the place is huge so they could easily accommodate a large crowd.

There are seven inflatables at the Bolingbrook location including a 40 ft long Jungle Zone with 4 slides, and tunnels, a Sponge Bob Club House, a Superman obstacle course and slide, a 22 ft high Fire Truck slide, a Batmobile slide, a 22 ft train station with bounce area, and a 20 ft Tweety Bird bird cage.

There was plenty of seating available around two sides and all the slides and bounce houses were in clear view of all sitting areas.  I brought a book to read, but it was quickly put away and I was chasing the boys and going down that firetruck slide with my arms up in the air just like TOF.  Of course I have no photographic evidence of it, so you'll just have to take my word for it.

It. was. a. blast.

Other things you may want to know:

The staff was friendly and helpful.  There was always someone nearby in case your child needed helping getting in or out of a bounce area.  The concession stand sold reasonably priced Michael's Pizza, pop and Icee's.

Open play rates are $8 or $10.  Check the schedule for dates and hours.  Parents must sign a waiver for children to play and socks are required.

Join Club JZ and instantly receive a 2 for 1 admission coupon.

Every Friday Night is Family Fun Night. For only $34.00, the Family Package includes a large one topping pizza, one large pitcher of soda and unlimited jumping for 2 kids ages 2 -12.

Adults and children under the age of 2 with a paid child are always free.

Now for the giveaway:

I have 2 pairs of open play passes to giveaway to the first 2 local commentators.

Disclaimer:  I used a Club JZ 2 for 1 pass for our admission and paid out of pocket for our food.  Management was kind enough to provide the passes for this giveaway in consideration of my sharing this post.
