What a fun giveaway!

Our traditions include making lots of home made food gifts, hosting a cookie decorating party and making a gingerbread house.

I used to make TONS AND TONS of cookies in December, but due to my busy schedule and the desire to just not have all of those calories sitting around staring at me, I make just a couple of favorites each year. I think I enjoy them even more since I don't make so much. :)

We like to make crust-less apple pie (but the top is crumbled, so it tastes like snickerdoodles!)

My holiday baking tradition is my mother's Christmas tree cake. She makes it every year and I am set to inherit the pans when she is no longer able to carry on the tradition. I was chosen among 4 adult children for this honor. Since my mother is almost 90, I think it will be coming my way very soon. This year, I will be taking photos and discussing frosting with my mother!

Merry Christmas!
