My holiday baking tradition is my mother's Christmas tree cake. She makes it every year and I am set to inherit the pans when she is no longer able to carry on the tradition. I was chosen among 4 adult children for this honor. Since my mother is almost 90, I think it will be coming my way very soon. This year, I will be taking photos and discussing frosting with my mother!

Fortunately I'm a really good baker, so I bake a lot of cookies every Christmas season. I give them as gifts to family and friends, but I definitely keep some in this house to eat too!
