Mona flew non-stop, using her superhero powers, all the way from San Francisco to the J-Town Regional Airport and hopped into the rental car provided for her to reach her destination here on The Avenue. Moxie Mona has been an awesome house guest, going so far as to accompany me to the Labor and Delivery Suites of the local hospital to assist in the birth of another grandson. Poor girl wasn't really up to it and she passed out inside my purse while I attended to the matters at hand. Therefore, unfortunately, there are no pictures to prove this, but trust me, Mona was there and she has sworn to me that there is no way she is ever going through that any time soon. I feel good about preventing at least one unplanned pregnancy. Mona is going to think long and hard when she does make that choice.
Now onto a tour of the city I call home.

Have a great day Rita I had fun visiting your state and town
Mona lucked out on the rental car. I always get stuck with the lime green sedans! And I loved the tour- so fun!!
Wow, totally weird feeling to randomly check out this Mona Moxie thing, and then see that she was literally a few minutes away from me and I missed her!
I grew up 30 mins away in o-town lol, so interesting to hear all the people who are from here. Go Jackhammers!
Mona sure has a sweet ride... can you hook me up MRM?! Being that you're a celebrity and all I know you've got connections :)
LOVE her rental car! And what a cool video. Kudos. :)
(doesn't it stink that the blogger followers widget appears to be broken today? Of all days? Blech)
I almost asked if Joliet was really called J-Town. I mean, if that was the official name. Does everyone call it J-town? I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the sites.......that university IS beautiful, and I LOVE how you made the slide show of Mona's travels. So creative!
Mona's rental car definitely rocked the casbah, MRM! I will be expecting the same type of royalty treatment should I ever arrive in your great state. Oh, and the trivia in your video clip was fantastic. I had no idea that Prisonbreak was filmed so close to The Avenue. :)
PS: Glad to see that the list of notable J-town residents includes you. All is right with the world.
Wow! Impressive slideshow!! That must have taken you forever! And I agree with the other ladies....totally jealous of her rental car!
Mona probably wasn't up to the task of assisting with the birth because she had only just recently assisted with my birth of my son ... which was pretty gross, for several reasons I won't elaborate on here. ;) Poor girl, she just got overloaded, I guess.
I dig Mona's rental car! So cute!
Wow, that was terrific! So creative.
I can't believe 2 babies have been born on Mona's trrip! I can't wait to see where she goes next!
Wow! Two people kept Mona from getting pregnant this week. It's great to know so many people are watching out for our doll. Loved your slideshow. I almost feel like I was there, driving alongside Mona in her pink convertible!
That is one HOT car she's driving. That Mona, she sure does get around! Thanks for the tour! : )
Oh my gosh, I love Mona's pink car!!! If I come visit you do I get a pink car too?
I'm glad Mona's visit was fun AND educational! And I LOVE that convertible - this girl travels in STYLE! :)
