Always Always

***Disclaimer***

If I have any male readers, go away now. Now, shoo, shoo, shoo! This post will make you more blind than Rosie and some good porn.

Are they all gone? Good, than it's just us girls. Because I have a girly tip for you. I was blog surfing and came across this. And no offense to the author, because she shares some awesome tips, but upon first seeing this I said a little, ok a HUGE WTF!

Because for me, oh hell no, I will NEVER be that thrifty and environmentally responsible. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

  10. Uhmmm.. nope... no way... ick!

I guess they had no choice 100 years ago, but I'll never give up good-old store bought.

Soaking... washing... I'm not sure I could sanitize my washer good enough afterward that I'd ever want to use it again... yuck!

  11. Just like I don't think I will be a cloth diaper mommmy, I don't think I could do this either. EEWW.

  12. You have to be all kinds of nutty to make and use those babies...

  13. Yeah, no. I read the title in the link and that was enough for me. Before frantically trying to click away from the page, I did glance at something about having to let the pads "soak" as part of the washing cycle.

Aren't there already enough things on our respective "to do" lists?

  16. Seriously? OMG! That is just nasty and I don't think I could ever be that broke or conscious of the environment.

  17. this reminds me of a related (in a wtf way) product - a "moon cup" I think it was called... where you inset a "cup" which collects the blood, which you can just empty when full... ugh ugh ugh I'm almost dry heaving just typing about it :p

  18. Kinda like I probably won't be using cloth diapers any time soon.

    Uh... yeah... no.

  19. I can't believe that....Ewww I can't do pads because I don't like the feeling "down there" I much prefer tampons and don't even want to know if there are instructions for that!

  20. Just to add to the gross factor... yes there are tampon patterns as well. I have seen some for crocheted tampons. I have a lot better things to do with my yarn then make tampons.

  21. I've seen those being sold on the Etsy website. I was taken back and all "WTF?!" too. I'm sorry but there is NO WAY IN HELL I am washing a dirty period pad - not even my own. Nope, nope NOPE!

    Go green my ass!
